The Early Care and Education department at the Lee County Partnership for Children works with early childhood professionals to increase the quality of care given to young children in Lee County. The Lee County Partnership for Children believes that all young children deserve to be in a Four-Star or Five Star Child Care Facility, as determined by the North Carolina Division of Child Development’s Star Rating Systemfor regulated child care facilities.

The Early Care and Education department seeks to help child care facilities by offering 3 different grants:

• Quality Maintenance Grant
• Professional Development
